I have found that the so called “Martingale” rule to be the most insidious restriction which ties the hands behind the backs of traders. I say “so called” above because Martingale by definition only means doubling up a position, period. A very conservative upward bias of traders positions against the market is also forbidden which they also identify as a “Martingale”, makes zero sense.
Thankfully there are Prop Firms who have seen the wisdom by (not) disallowing Martingale.
