Leandro’s trading approach is refreshingly simple. “I mark support and resistance levels from the monthly chart down to the 4-hour chart, then use the 1-hour chart for trade entries,” he explained. He limits his risk to 0.5% on his first trade and gradually increases it, never exceeding 1%. This disciplined risk management has been critical to his success.
Reflecting on his challenges, Leandro revealed that managing risk and developing the patience to avoid low-probability trades were his toughest hurdles. “Psychology was the hardest part,” he noted, adding that his biggest breakthrough came when he refined his risk management strategy.
A turning point in his trading career was when he fully embraced price action and simplified his strategy, abandoning more complicated approaches. This focus on simplicity helped him achieve consistent profitability after two and a half years of trading.
