In a recent interview, Muso, a talented 29-year-old trader from Uzbekistan, shared his incredible journey to becoming a profitable trader with The5%ers. Muso, who has been trading for three years, emphasized the importance of discipline, sticking to a single strategy, and managing risk effectively.
Exclusive Interview: Muso Shares His Journey with The5%ers
After starting his trading career in 2022, Muso faced multiple challenges and failures, but his persistence paid off. “In the beginning, I failed many times,” Muso admitted. “But I analyzed my mistakes, back-tested my strategies, and learned from every setback. Risk management was the key to my turnaround.”
Muso follows the ICT trading strategy, focusing on just a few key assets: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, DXY, and occasionally gold. He utilizes higher timeframes like daily, 4-hour, and 1-hour charts to set up his trades and dives into the 1-minute or 5-minute timeframes for precise entries. “I rely on the DXY and Fibonacci zones for confirmation. My stop loss is usually 10 pips, and I aim for a 1:3 risk-to-reward ratio,” he explained.
In 2024, Muso secured a funded account with The5%ers and quickly scaled it from $100,000 to $200,000. He is currently aiming to grow his account to $500,000 and beyond. When asked about his first payout, Muso shared, “The feeling was amazing—pure euphoria! It felt incredible to make money from trading after all the hard work.”
Muso credits his success to sticking to one strategy, managing his risk, and having the discipline to stop trading when necessary. “If I lose in one session, I stop and give myself time to reset. Overtrading leads to unnecessary losses,” he advised.
