Here are some new updates related to the important compliance updates from City Traders Imperium (CTI) related to VPS and VPN usage. As part of CTI’s commitment to maintaining a fair and secure trading environment, they have updated their VPS and VPN usage policies. 

Also, the firm recognizes the importance of these tools for many of you and wants to ensure that they are used correctly, enhancing your trading experience without compromising their platform’s integrity.

Also, the VPS should be utilized solely to operate an Expert Adviser (EA). You are required to provide invoices confirming your subscription to the VPS service. Additionally, the EA deployed must be one for which you own the source code. Should you need to use the VPS for other purposes, please contact the firm to discuss possible arrangements to be approved.

If you find yourself trading while traveling or if you use a social copy trading tool that might show IP addresses different from your proof of residence, it’s important to keep the firm informed.

Please provide relevant supporting documents, such as flight tickets, hotel bookings, or VPS invoices in your name. Email these documents to CTI support to make them aware and to obtain the necessary approval from their team.

Revised VPN Policy

Moreover, in response to a rise in fraudulent activities, the use of VPNs is now prohibited. The location of your trading activities must correspond with your proof of address to ensure transparency and verifiability in trading. Effective as of 05 July 2024, continued use of a VPN will constitute a breach of their terms and conditions. 

If you were using a VPN before this date, there is no cause for concern regarding previous VPN use, but you must discontinue any VPN usage immediately. 

So, City Traders Imperium’s risk management team is vigilant in monitoring for any irregularities. Should they identify questionable activity, additional documentation may be required to verify compliance with their rules. Adhering to these guidelines is crucial, as non-compliance will result in account termination.
