A $1.2 Million Funded Trader with The 5%ers – Interview with Anna!

The 5%ers shared an interview with one of their Funded Trader, Anna. Anna has been a funded trader by The 5%ers for over a year now. She is trading in the Hyper-Growth program (Instant Funding), managing 1,200,000!

Originally from Latvia, Anna has been living in Scotland for over ten years. The first and most important thing in her life is her four children. She started to trade because it would give her time to spend with her family.

When asked about her Trading Plan, she shared, “Stupid simple” That’s what she calls her trading plan. Having simple and easy-to-understand rules is the factor that contributes to her success. 4h zones (support/resistance) with taking entries on 15m or 5m time frame using candle patterns. Clear risk management. Start small and increase as she goes:

First trade with 0.10 – 0.25% until she builds a 2% profit cushion.0.25 – 0.50% risk until she builds a 4% profit cushion.0.50 – 0.75% risk when enough (+4%) profit has been made.

Anna shared that she used to think that 1% was the way to go, but after many errors, she realized it was not the way. For her personally, 1% is a lot. She also shared that focusing on money is what fails most traders. Once she started to focus on her process and not on how much profit she had made, she saw a drastic change.

She kept very detailed journals and looking back, she saw the turning point was for her to stop worrying about how much money she made but stay focused on reaching consistent results. It was very challenging to switch off the money. What helped her was not to set any targets in a certain amount, for example, making 10% profit. Instead, she developed a goal of staying consistent with her strategy and focusing on the process even if she doesn’t make any money.

Her next mission is to reach 10% profit and double her funds to $2,400,000. The 5%ers spoke with Anna about her trading plan, insights, and lessons gained while trading in the markets and their platform as funded traders.
