Funded Trading Plus has successfully completed the migration of accounts from Platform 4 (MT4) and Platform 5 (MT5) to DXtrade. The firm announced this unplanned shift last week, following a sudden notification from their third-party broker that they could no longer offer services on the MT4 and MT5 platforms.
The announcement, made on January 30th, 2025, affected only traders using Platforms 4 and 5, while all other customers remained unaffected. The firm expressed regret over the disruption, emphasizing that the situation was beyond their control. Funded Trading Plus cited a clause in their Terms & Conditions allowing for such migrations in the event of platform loss, helping to minimize service interruption.
Funded Trading Plus Completes Migration to DXtrade
To ensure a smooth transition, traders were advised to close all active trades by 17:30 GMT on the same day. Those who failed to do so saw their trades automatically closed during the migration process.
The firm also communicated that the focus was on an immediate transfer to DXtrade. However, once the success of this migration was evaluated, traders were informed of the possibility of an additional planned migration in the coming week. Traders may be offered the choice to move their accounts to either Match Trader or cTrader, depending on their preferences. Further instructions on this potential migration will be available soon.
Funded Trading Plus reiterated its apologies for the inconvenience caused and emphasized its commitment to ensuring minimal disruption for its customers during this unplanned event. Despite the challenges, the firm aims to provide seamless trading services and maintain the trust of its global trader base.
The migration to DXtrade has now been successfully completed, and affected traders are back online.
