The Funded Trader Interview: Profit $28,000

The Funded Trader was founded on May 12, 2021. They are a US-based proprietary firm that offers three different two-step evaluation funding programs.

They have contracts with Eightcap and Purple Trading Seychelles to operate as their brokers. Their main office is in Liberty Hill, Texas, at 14001 West Highway 29, Suite 102.

The Funded Trader shared an interview with a 21-year-old ICT trader, whose name is Paladin. He is from New York Paladin and got into trading in high school. Paladin recently moved upstate New York.

He joined because he wanted the lifestyle and was a naive high schooler. He eventually quit because, due to his lack of experience, he was blowing accounts.

The more he did challenges, the more he got live accounts and lost them, and the more experience gained, he eventually kept building. He continues to work toward his goals “like he still has on the side.”

From 2019 to 2020, he switched around eight different strategies, as indicated. Then ICT came, and he has been sticking with ICT since then. He believes any strategy works; if you use something like retail, you could succeed.

It changes for him about every three months because he has previously dropped out of college three times. That occurred after he made a sizable withdrawal after becoming funded, thinking, “Okay, this is it, like he doesn’t need anything.” He will devote his full attention to this. Every 30 minutes, he’ll set the alarm to see how things go. He doesn’t trade every day; that’s the thing; he only trades when a setup is present. However, now that he trades full-time, it’s different because he feels he has to be available.

He explained his experience with alerts. In the morning, for him, it’s like he wakes up, and if there’s no setup, he’ll go about his day. If he sees a setup about to form or he is waiting for the price to come, he sends alerts around that support or resistance.

Sharing his screen, he discussed his market analysis, the pairs and time frames he was looking at, and a brief description of the type of trading he does.
