This decision to have their dedicated server, which is still being integrated, will resolve the server latency issues The Funded Trader has been having. The firm believes that its traders deserve a better product. Therefore, the firm is happy its partners have decided to go this route.

The message from Eightcap was:

“I’ve spoken with the leadership team and IT, and because the issues we are experiencing with server stability are predominantly HFT EAs spamming the server. We are going to move forward with enabling bridge routing for all Eightcap demo accounts. This means that arbitrage trading won’t be successful in our demo environment and will reduce server load from HFT Traders. I know it’s a bit of a rapid decision, but we see this as being in the best interest of the parties.”
