MyForexFunds Gets New Owner as Brand Relaunch Nears

Home » MyForexFunds Gets New Owner as Brand Relaunch Nears

MyForexFunds has a new owner, marking a major change for one of the most recognizable names in the retail prop trading industry. Global Solutions Operations FZE, a Dubai-based company, has acquired the MyForexFunds brand from Traders Global Group Inc., while the previous owner retains responsibility for its outstanding discretionary rewards program.

For traders who still have pending submissions connected to the program affected by the firm’s 2023 shutdown, the immediate message is straightforward: the rewards program itself has not been transferred to the new owner. Global Solutions will administer the remaining stages, but Traders Global continues to make the underlying determinations.

MyForexFunds has a new owner as Global Solutions takes over the brand, while Traders Global continues its rewards program.

MyForexFunds New Owner Takes Control of the Brand

The acquisition was on August 1, 2026, according to the current MyForexFunds terms and the announcement surrounding the transaction. Global Solutions acquired the MyForexFunds and MFF trademarks, logos, brand assets, website domain and associated websites, as well as the official social media accounts.

That distinction between the brand and the existing rewards program is important. Global Solutions is acting as a service provider for Traders Global in administering the remaining program, but the program remains under Traders Global’s control. Pending participants therefore should continue using the existing channels rather than assuming that the acquisition creates a new claims or payout process.

The company also says it is in discussions with members of the original MyForexFunds team.

Why the Ownership Change Matters for Traders

The most significant question is not simply who owns the logo or website. It is what Global Solutions intends to do with the MyForexFunds business model.

MyForexFunds became a major name in the retail prop trading sector by offering several routes into funded trading. Court records from the earlier litigation describe Evaluation, Rapid and Accelerated programs, including models that used an evaluation phase and an Accelerated option that moved customers directly toward live trading.

That legacy gives the new owner something many newly launched prop firms have to spend years building: immediate brand recognition among traders. The challenge will be converting that recognition into a commercially sustainable funding program while establishing clearly defined rules around evaluations, account restrictions, payouts and risk management.

For traders, the next announcement could therefore matter considerably more than the acquisition itself. Until Global Solutions publishes details of any new funding programs, challenge rules, account models, payout systems or pricing, there is no basis for assuming that the old MyForexFunds programs will simply return in their previous form.

The Rewards Program Remains Separate

The acquisition does not automatically mean that pending discretionary rewards have become obligations of Global Solutions.

The current terms explicitly state that Global Solutions has not assumed Traders Global’s liabilities or obligations and is administering the discretionary rewards program solely on Traders Global’s behalf.

That separation is operationally significant. Traders waiting on a submission should continue to distinguish between administration and decision-making. Global Solutions may handle the process, but the announcement says the final determinations remain at Traders Global’s discretion.

For traders following outstanding submissions, the practical takeaway is to monitor the established communication channels rather than treating the acquisition as a reset of the rewards process.

MyForexFunds’ Unusual Place in Prop Trading History

The MyForexFunds name carries considerably more history than a typical prop firm brand.

Before its shutdown in 2023, the company had attracted a very large customer base through paid trading programs. In its 2023 complaint, the CFTC alleged that more than 135,000 customers had signed up during the relevant period and paid at least $310 million in fees. Those figures were allegations in the regulator’s complaint, not findings that should be treated as an established measure of the firm’s current business.

The legal history subsequently changed substantially. In 2025, a federal judge dismissed the CFTC’s case against Traders Global and sanctioned the agency over its conduct in the litigation; Reuters reported that the CFTC was ordered to pay more than $3.1 million in attorney fees.

That history matters to the brand’s future because traders are likely to scrutinize any relaunch more closely than they would a newly established prop firm. A new ownership structure can create an opportunity to rebuild the operating model, but it also means that transparency around rules, counterparties, payouts and customer obligations will be particularly important.

A Potential Relaunch Could Look Very Different

The biggest commercial opportunity for Global Solutions is not necessarily recreating the old MyForexFunds offering line for line.

The prop trading market has changed significantly since MyForexFunds originally became prominent. Traders now pay much closer attention to drawdown mechanics, daily loss limits, consistency requirements, payout eligibility, scaling rules and the distinction between simulated and live trading environments.

That creates room for a relaunch built around simpler rules and a clearer customer journey. Challenge accessibility may attract initial demand, but payout reliability and understandable risk rules are more likely to determine whether traders remain with a platform after the first purchase.

There is also a retention consideration. A recognized brand can generate strong initial interest without needing to educate traders from scratch, but traders who have already experienced major changes in the prop-firm market are likely to compare the new offering on practical details: how quickly accounts become eligible for payouts, what happens after a rule breach, whether resets are available, and how scaling works once a trader becomes consistently profitable.

Until those details are published, traders should avoid assuming that the MyForexFunds name itself tells them what the next funding program will look like.

What Traders Should Watch Next

The forthcoming brand update should provide the clearest indication of Global Solutions’ strategy. Traders will want to see whether the company launches a conventional evaluation program, introduces a different funding structure, brings back elements associated with the original MFF offering, or takes a completely new approach.

Particular attention should go to payout rules, maximum drawdown, consistency requirements, account pricing, reset mechanics and scaling conditions. Those details will ultimately determine the practical value of any new MyForexFunds program far more than the ownership announcement.

For now, the acquisition establishes a new corporate owner for the brand, but it does not yet establish a new trader offering. The distinction is important: MyForexFunds has changed hands, while the details of its next chapter remain to be announced.
