Alle, a trader associated with Fintokei, has explained his approach to market bias, supply and demand zones, and trade entries in an interview, highlighting a EUR/AUD trade that generated nearly $7,700.

Fintokei Interview: Alle Explains $7,700 EUR/AUD Trade

During the discussion, Alle walked through his trading methodology, explaining how he uses candle closes to establish directional bias and identify potential price targets across multiple time frames. He also discussed a trade taken on October 15 that reportedly generated approximately $7,700 while risking $1,000.

Alle Explains His Candle-Based Bias Strategy

Alle said two key elements of his approach are the Commitment of Traders (COT) report and his own bias concept. He developed the latter as an additional way to establish directional expectations when the COT report was unavailable during a shutdown.

His method focuses on the relationship between the current candle and the previous candle. When a candle closes above the previous candle’s high, Alle expects the market to take that high. Conversely, when a candle fails to close above the previous high, he may anticipate a move toward the previous low, depending on the setup.

He applies the concept across multiple time frames, ranging from monthly and annual charts to daily, four-hour, and hourly charts. Using the US Dollar Index (DXY) as an example, he demonstrated how he tracks whether subsequent price action reaches the levels indicated by his bias.

Alle acknowledged that the concept does not work every time but described it as a useful tool for forming directional expectations. He encouraged traders to backtest the approach rather than rely solely on trading advice shared online.

Why Alle Waits for the Right Side of the V

Another important part of Alle’s strategy is waiting for price to confirm a reaction before entering a trade.

Rather than placing a buy-limit order immediately inside a demand zone, he prefers to wait for the market to form the right side of a V-shaped move. He explained that prices can move below a demand zone before recovering, making an immediate entry less reliable.

The same principle applies in a bearish environment, where traders may identify a supply zone but wait for price action to develop before looking for a short entry. The objective is to avoid anticipating a reversal too early.

EUR/AUD Trade Generated Nearly $7,700

Alle used a EUR/AUD trade to demonstrate how he combines his bias concept with higher-time-frame analysis and supply and demand zones.

He explained that the three-month chart initially indicated an upside bias, while subsequent price action swept below a previous three-month low. He then examined the monthly and weekly charts to identify relevant price levels and potential demand areas.

On the weekly chart, Alle highlighted candles that took out the previous candle’s low before closing above it. He uses these patterns to anticipate potential swing lows and identify areas where the market could reverse.

Alle said he risked $1,000 on the October 15 trade, which generated approximately $7,700. He presented the example to illustrate his approach rather than simply showcase the result, noting that the risk-to-reward ratio was not typical.

His explanation centered on combining directional bias, higher-time-frame levels, and confirmation of price action rather than relying on a single indicator or entering a trade solely because price reaches a supply or demand zone.
