Direct Funded Trader 50% Discount on All Accounts Deal

Home » Direct Funded Trader 50% Discount on All Accounts Deal

Direct Funded Trader has launched a 50% discount on every account, giving traders a way to cut the upfront cost of its funding programs. The new Direct Funded Trader 50% discount applies through promo code DF50, according to the firm’s latest promotional announcement.

For traders who already understand the rules of a particular evaluation and are considering an account, halving the entry fee materially changes the initial risk calculation. The discount does not change the trading objectives or loss limits, however, so the lower purchase price should not be confused with easier qualification.

Direct Funded Trader offers a 50% discount on every account with code DF50, reducing challenge costs for traders for a limited time.

Direct Funded Trader Launches 50% Discount

The promotion applies to every account, rather than being restricted to a specific account size or funding program. Traders can enter the code DF50 at checkout to receive 50% off their purchase.

The offer is advertised as limited time, although the announcement does not provide a specific expiration date. That distinction matters because traders should not assume the promotional pricing will remain available indefinitely.

Direct Funded Trader currently offers both a two-step Evaluation Program and a one-step Fast Funding option. Its listed account sizes range up to $200,000 for the Evaluation Program, while Fast Funding offers accounts from $15,000 to $100,000.

Direct Funded Trader 50% Discount Changes the Entry Cost

The biggest practical effect of DF50 is straightforward: traders pay half of the advertised challenge price.

That can be particularly relevant for larger evaluations, where the absolute saving becomes more meaningful. It also gives traders who were already planning to purchase an account more room in their trading budget without changing the amount of capital they are attempting to qualify for.

The underlying rules remain important. For the Evaluation Program, traders face an 8% Phase 1 target and 5% Phase 2 target, alongside a 5% maximum daily loss and 10% maximum loss. Both phases require at least five trading days but have no maximum trading period.

Fast Funding uses a different structure, with a 10% profit target, 4% maximum daily loss and 7% maximum loss. It also requires five trading days before progressing to a funded account.

Why the Lower Challenge Price Matters

A discounted challenge can influence trader behavior in two opposite ways. Lower entry costs reduce the financial barrier to testing a strategy, but they can also make traders more willing to purchase accounts impulsively.

That makes the firm’s existing rules more important, not less. A 50% discount does not reduce the percentage-based drawdown limits or profit targets, meaning a trader still needs a strategy capable of operating within the same risk framework.

There is another operational consideration. Direct Funded Trader’s funded accounts offer an 80% profit split, while the firm states that the first payout becomes available 30 calendar days after the first position on a funded account, with subsequent withdrawals available bi-weekly.

The firm’s scaling structure also provides for account increases after generating 25% profit, with the stated increase equal to 50% of the initial account size.

What Traders Should Check Before Using DF50

The promotion makes the purchase price more attractive, but traders should still evaluate the complete funding model rather than focusing solely on the discount.

Minimum trading days, daily drawdown rules, maximum loss limits, stop-loss requirements, and weekend restrictions can materially affect whether an account fits a particular trading style. Direct Funded Trader also states that its standard Fast Funding program does not permit weekend holding, while its Aggressive version does.

For traders already comfortable with these conditions, the promotion offers a clear reduction in upfront challenge costs. For everyone else, the lower price is a reason to examine the rules—not a substitute for doing so.

Direct Funded Trader Promotion Gives Traders a Lower-Cost Entry Point

The DF50 promotion makes Direct Funded Trader’s funding programs considerably cheaper to enter for the duration of the offer. The most relevant benefit is therefore cost efficiency: traders can access the same account structures while committing less capital at the initial purchase stage.

Since the announcement does not specify an exact closing date, traders considering the promotion should verify that the code is still active before checkout.
