Alpha Capital Group has announced the launch of its April trading competition, allowing participants to compete for funded account assessments at no cost. The firm confirmed that registration is now open through its dashboard, with entries closing at midnight on March 31.
The competition is structured around performance, with rewards distributed across multiple ranking tiers. The top-performing trader will receive a $100,000 assessment account, while those finishing in second and third place will each earn $50,000 assessments. Moreover, traders placing fourth and fifth will receive $25,000 accounts, followed by $10,000 assessments for positions six through thirty. Participants ranked between thirty-first and seventieth place will be awarded $5,000 assessments.
Alpha Capital Group April Competition with Zero Entry Cost
According to the firm, the competition is designed to give traders a pathway into funded trading without upfront costs. Each participant is allowed a single entry, and access is granted through the client dashboard by selecting the competition section and completing the registration process.
Also, the rules outline a structured risk framework. Traders are not allowed to use expert advisors (EAs), and lot size limits are imposed depending on the asset class. A cap of five open trades at one time is enforced, alongside a maximum daily drawdown of 5% and an overall drawdown limit of 10%. The firm also stated that exploiting unrealistic fills in the demo environment is prohibited.
At the same time, certain trading styles remain permitted. Weekend holding and news trading are allowed, giving participants flexibility in strategy execution. Rankings will be determined based on total profit, with the highest gains securing top positions.
Also, the April competition adds to the growing number of promotional trading events across the prop firm space, where firms are using contests to engage traders and offer access to funded opportunities.
