One of the biggest hurdles in Le’s trading journey was handling consecutive losses and emotional volatility. “My biggest challenge was dealing with 5 to 10 losses in a row. I used to be impatient and let emotions affect my trades,” Le shared. To overcome this, he limited his daily trade count and introduced pauses between entries, allowing himself to reset mentally before placing new trades.
A key to Le’s long-term success has been adapting risk management to suit his personality. He risks only 0.5% to 0.7% per trade and never increases his position size impulsively. This low-risk, high-discipline approach has kept him stable during drawdowns and played a crucial role in his consistency.
It took Le five years to achieve sustainable results. During this time, he refined his strategies, simplified his rules, and developed the patience required to treat trading as a profession rather than a thrill.
His success in passing The5%ers’ evaluation came from focusing on high-probability setups, maintaining strict discipline, and avoiding overtrading. “I don’t rush into trades when the requirements aren’t met,” Le emphasized.
