FundedNext has introduced its May Monthly Competition, outlining a revised reward structure that places greater focus on direct access to funded trading accounts. The firm stated that participants can now win free Stellar Instant Accounts as part of the competition, removing the need to complete traditional evaluation challenges.
According to the announcement, the total prize pool includes $8,000 in cash rewards alongside approximately $650,000 worth of Stellar Instant Accounts. The structure distributes both cash and account-based rewards across multiple ranking tiers, allowing a broader range of participants to receive payouts.
FundedNext May Competition: Instant Accounts & Cash Rewards
The top three positions carry combined rewards in both formats. First place receives a Stellar Instant 20K account along with $5,000 in cash. Second place is a Stellar Instant 20K account and $2,000, while third place includes a similar account paired with $1,000.
Participants finishing between fourth and tenth place receive Stellar Instant 20K accounts. Rankings from eleventh to twentieth are allocated Stellar Instant 10K accounts, while those placed between twenty-first and fiftieth receive Stellar Instant 5K accounts.
The reward structure continues further down the leaderboard. Traders ranked from fifty-first to one hundredth will receive a Stellar Instant 2K accounts. In addition, FundedNext confirmed that 50 participants from positions 101st to 600th will be selected through a draw to receive Stellar Instant 2K accounts.
The firm described the competition as part of its approach to simplify access to funded trading by allowing participants to bypass multi-step evaluation processes. The competition is open for registration, with traders invited to join and compete throughout May.
This rollout reflects a continued shift among proprietary trading firms toward alternative funding pathways, where performance in competitive environments can lead directly to funded account access rather than standard challenge-based models.
