Plutus Trade Base Two-step Challenge Working: A Trader’s Guide

The Two-step Challenge has two evaluation phases that test both profitability and consistency. In Phase One, traders must achieve an 8% profit target. During this phase, they must stay within one of three selectable risk profiles, which include maximum daily loss limits of 7%, 5%, or 4%, and maximum trailing loss limits of 12%, 10%, or 8%. There is no maximum time limit to complete Phase One, allowing traders to progress at their own pace. However, a minimum of four trading days is required to qualify for Phase Two, ensuring that results are not based on a single high-risk session.

Phase Two follows a similar structure but with adjusted performance expectations. Traders have to reach a 6% profit target while continuing to respect the same daily and trailing loss rules selected in Phase One. Like the first phase, there is no maximum duration, but traders must again complete at least four trading days to be eligible for a funded account. This two-layer structure emphasizes steady execution and risk management over short-term gains.

Upon successfully completing both phases, traders are awarded a funded account. At this stage, the firm reduces the risk limits to a 5% maximum daily loss and a maximum trailing loss of 10%, 8%, or 6%, depending on the chosen profile. Traders become eligible for withdrawals once they reach a minimum profit of 7% of the initial account balance, offering a clear path to monetizing performance.

Overall, the Plutus Trade Base Two-step Challenge provides a rule-based environment aimed at identifying traders who can combine profitability with controlled risk, making it a structured entry point into funded trading for disciplined market participants.
