In an exclusive interview with the FundingPips team, Dubai-based trader Zamco shared details of his trading journey, revealing that he has secured approximately $1.3 million in prop firm payouts in 2025, with close to 10% of that total coming from FundingPips. At just 25 years old, Zamco has emerged as one of the higher-earning traders in the prop trading space and is now targeting $1.5 million in payouts for 2026.
Zamco, who has been trading for eight years, described his early career as challenging, marked by repeated account failures before reaching consistent profitability over the last two years. According to him, understanding how prop firms operate and aligning his strategy with their rules played a key role in turning his performance around.
“I failed for six years, but those failures taught me what not to do. Over the last two years, I’ve built a system that works with prop firm rules instead of against them,” Zamco said during the interview.

He explained that he deliberately uses a high-risk approach during evaluation phases to secure funding as quickly as possible, while switching to a lower-risk strategy once funded. Zamco noted that he often risks the maximum allowed during evaluations to pass in just a few trades, then reduces his exposure to around 1% per trade in funded accounts, aiming for a single high-quality trade before requesting a payout.
“This way, I avoid overtrading. I take one good win, request my payout, and move on to the next account,” he said.
Zamco credited FundingPips for providing a trading environment that reduces psychological pressure. He highlighted the firm’s simplified rule structure, including fewer margin and stop-loss restrictions compared to other prop firms.
“With FundingPips, I don’t have to think as much about restrictions. I just focus on my setup and execution,” he added. “That peace of mind makes a real difference.”
Looking ahead, Zamco said he plans to streamline his trading process further in 2026. He aims to reduce his total spending on evaluations to below $200,000 while targeting $1.5 million in total payouts. He also intends to maintain a funded capital range of $1.5 million to $2 million, noting that managing more than that becomes operationally inefficient.
On a monthly basis, Zamco is targeting $100,000 to $200,000 in payouts, which he believes is achievable with consistent execution and disciplined risk management.
