FundedNext November Competition Offers $8K in Prizes

Home » FundedNext November Competition Offers $8K in Prizes

FundedNext has shortened its monthly trading competition to a 14-day format, giving traders a defined window to compete for $8,000 in cash prizes and $650,000 worth of Stellar Instant accounts. The FundedNext November Competition runs from November 1 through November 14, with every participant receiving a $100,000 Challenge Account to trade under a dedicated set of competition rules.

The shorter format changes the strategy considerably. Traders have less time to recover from early losses, while the prize structure gives profitable participants several opportunities to finish inside the winning ranks rather than relying solely on the top three positions.

The FundedNext November Competition runs for 14 days, offering $8,000 cash and $650K in Stellar Instant accounts.

FundedNext November Competition Sets 14-Day Trading Window

The competition will rank traders according to their account performance, with the prize pool divided across several finishing positions.

The winner receives a $5,000 cash prize plus a $20,000 Stellar Instant Account, while second place gets $2,000 cash and a $20,000 account. Third place receives $1,000 cash and another $20,000 Stellar Instant Account.

The account prizes extend considerably further down the leaderboard. Traders finishing fourth through 10th receive $20,000 Stellar Instant Accounts, while positions 11th through 20th receive $10,000 accounts. Places 21st through 50th receive $5,000 accounts, and positions 51st through 100th receive $2,000 accounts.

There is also a draw among positions 101st through 600th, with 50 traders receiving $2,000 Stellar Instant Accounts.

That distribution makes the competition less dependent on finishing at the very top. A trader who cannot realistically challenge for the $5,000 first-place prize can still have a meaningful incentive to manage risk and remain competitive throughout the two-week period.

Competition Rules Put Risk Management at the Center

FundedNext is providing participants with a $100,000 Challenge Account, but the account comes with strict trading parameters.

The maximum daily loss is 5%, including floating losses, while the overall loss limit is 10%. The loss limit is calculated based on balance, rather than equity, which is an important distinction when managing open positions.

Participants must trade for at least five trading days, while the competition itself lasts 14 days. News trading is permitted, as are overnight and weekend positions. Accounts are swap-free, although commissions apply at $3 per lot for Forex and commodities, with no commission on indices.

Other restrictions are more operational. EAs are prohibited, traders can hold a maximum of five positions at one time, and the maximum lot size is three per position for indices, commodities and metals. Participants can place up to 50 trades per day.

Only one account and one IP address per person is permitted.

The Prize Structure Changes Trader Incentives

The most interesting element is not simply the headline $8,000 cash prize. The competition effectively combines a traditional leaderboard with a large distribution of future funding opportunities.

The $650,000 in Stellar Instant Accounts can matter more to some traders than the cash prizes because these accounts provide another route into FundedNext’s funding ecosystem. FundedNext’s broader offering includes Stellar Instant alongside its One-Step, Two-Step and Stellar Lite programs, with the firm’s standard funding products offering different combinations of profit targets, drawdown limits and payout schedules.

For competition traders, that creates two different objectives: maximize the leaderboard result without breaching the account, and preserve enough capital throughout the 14-day period to remain eligible for a prize position.

That second consideration is particularly important. A shorter competition can encourage aggressive trading because participants know there is a fixed deadline. However, the 10% overall loss limit and 5% daily loss limitleave relatively little room for repeated high-risk attempts. Traders therefore need to balance leaderboard ambition against the possibility of eliminating themselves before the competition reaches its final days.

Why the 14-Day Format Matters

FundedNext’s decision to run the competition for 14 days also creates a different trading environment from longer monthly contests. A two-week window can reward traders who maintain consistent exposure rather than those who rely on a single outsized trading day.

The minimum five trading-day requirement reinforces that structure. Participants cannot simply attempt one large trade and disappear; they need to remain active across a meaningful portion of the competition.

The rules also remove several restrictions that could otherwise interfere with short-term strategies. News trading, overnight holding and weekend holding are allowed, giving traders more flexibility around major market events and multi-day setups.

For traders considering participation, the key issue is therefore not simply the size of the advertised prize pool. The more practical question is whether their normal risk model can operate comfortably within the competition’s balance-based drawdown rules and position limits.

FundedNext November Competition Gives Traders Multiple Targets

The November competition is structured so that the reward does not disappear after the top three places. With Stellar Instant Accounts distributed across the leaderboard and an additional draw for 50 traders ranked between 101st and 600th, the event gives a relatively wide range of finishing positions access to prizes.

That makes risk preservation particularly important. A trader who is sitting outside the top positions late in the competition may still have an incentive to remain active rather than abandon the account after missing the largest cash prizes.

For traders interested in testing their strategy under a fixed deadline, the November 1–14 window provides a clearly defined opportunity. The combination of cash rewards, instant funding accounts and relatively permissive holding rules makes the competition materially different from a standard paid evaluation.
