Sway Funded 50% Off First Challenge With FIRST

Home » Sway Funded 50% Off First Challenge With FIRST

Sway Funded is giving new traders a substantially cheaper way to enter its prop trading programs with a 50% discount on the first challenge. The promotion uses code FIRST, reducing the upfront cost of an evaluation without changing the underlying trading rules or payout structure.

The offer is particularly relevant for traders who have been comparing challenge fees but have not yet committed to an account. Cutting the initial cost in half changes the financial exposure of the first attempt while leaving the trader’s evaluation objectives intact.

Sway Funded offers 50% off the first challenge with code FIRST, cutting entry costs for new prop trading customers.

Sway Funded 50% Off First Challenge With Code FIRST

The promotion applies to a trader’s first Sway Funded challenge when the code FIRST is entered at checkout. Sway Funded currently advertises the promotion directly on its website as an introductory offer for first-time customers.

The distinction between a first-challenge discount and an across-the-board price reduction is important. This is primarily an acquisition-focused promotion: Sway Funded is lowering the barrier to the first purchase rather than altering profit splits, payout frequency, drawdown limits, or evaluation targets.

Its current offering includes Rapid Challenge, Regular Challenge, and Instant Funding models, giving traders different structures depending on whether they want a one-step evaluation, two-step evaluation, or direct access without a traditional evaluation.

Why the 50% Discount Matters for Traders

Challenge pricing has a psychological effect beyond the actual dollar amount. A trader who pays a relatively high evaluation fee may feel pressure to recover that cost quickly, which can lead to unnecessary trades or excessive position sizing after a loss.

A 50% reduction lowers that initial sunk-cost pressure. That does not improve the probability of passing a challenge by itself, but it can make the first attempt financially less burdensome for someone who already has a defined risk plan.

The discount should therefore be viewed as a cost reduction rather than a risk reduction. Sway Funded’spublished program conditions still include daily-loss and trailing-drawdown limits, while evaluation accounts have minimum trading-day requirements.

The Underlying Challenge Rules Still Matter

The promotional price should not distract traders from the structure of the account they are purchasing. For example, Sway Funded’s Regular Challenge uses a two-phase evaluation, while its Rapid Challenge follows a one-step structure. The firm’s review also notes that the evaluation programs have no maximum trading period, although minimum trading-day requirements apply.

The payout mechanics also differ between models. The Rapid and Regular programs have published profit splits of 80% up to 90%, while the Instant Funding model uses a different payout structure, including an 8% minimum withdrawal requirement and profit splits ranging from 55% to 75% depending on performance.

That makes account selection more important than simply choosing the cheapest discounted challenge. A trader who prefers more time to complete an evaluation may value the unlimited trading period differently from someone primarily interested in immediate access.

A Customer-Acquisition Strategy With a Retention Angle

There is also an operational reason for limiting the offer to the first challenge. A first-purchase discount lets Sway Funded reduce the entry barrier without permanently resetting the headline price of its programs for its existing customer base.

For traders, this creates a useful test opportunity. The lower initial fee can provide an inexpensive way to experience the firm’s trading environment, dashboard, and rule set before considering additional challenges.

That matters because the economics of prop trading extend beyond the initial evaluation fee. If a trader expects to purchase another account later, the normal pricing and ongoing rules still need to make sense after the promotional discount disappears.

What Traders Should Check Before Using FIRST

The 50% discount is most useful when the underlying challenge already matches the trader’s strategy. Before purchasing, traders should check the applicable profit target, maximum daily loss, trailing drawdown, minimum trading days, news-trading restrictions, and payout conditions for the specific account.

The firm’s current website also states that traders can access accounts up to $200,000, with rewards of up to 90% of profits, while its published challenge information highlights unlimited days and no consistency rule for its current offering.

In practical terms, the promotion reduces the amount at stake at entry. It does not remove the need for disciplined risk management once the challenge begins.

Sway Funded Makes First-Time Entry Cheaper

Sway Funded’s latest promotion is focused on one specific part of the prop trading funnel: getting new traders through the initial purchase decision at a lower cost. For traders already considering one of its funding programs, this can materially reduce the upfront fee without changing the account’s core operating conditions.

The key consideration is therefore whether the underlying program fits the trader’s approach, rather than whether the promotional price alone looks attractive.
